BMW M4 GT4 kommt in 2020
Der BMW M4 GT4 wird der neueste Sportwagen sein, der bei seinem Debüt in iRacing im Laufe des Jahres sein Debüt geben wird. iRacing war Anfang der Woche im Turner Motorsport Shop vor Ort, um den Wagen zu scannen und auf eine Veröffentlichung im Jahr 2020 vorzubereiten.
Die BMW M4 GT4-Kampagnen im Rahmen der IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge in den Vereinigten Staaten sowie eine Reihe anderer Sportwagenserien weltweit. Sein Debüt in den Händen von Kundenteams gab er 2018. Im selben Jahr wurde er bei den Professional MotorSport World Expo Awards für die Auszeichnung „Rennwagen des Jahres“ nominiert.
In der vergangenen Saison gewann der Wagen die GT4-Klasse der Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia und der 24H-Serie. Außerdem gewann er den Team-Titel 2019 im ADAC GT4 Deutschland. Zusätzlichen Ruhm erlangte das Auto auch im Film The Art of Racing in the Rain, als der Wagen von Protagonist Denny Swift, dargestellt von Schauspieler Milo Ventimiglia, gefahren wurde.
Auf iRacing wird der M4 GT4 neben dem M8 GTE und dem Z4 GT3 als Sportwagenangebot von BMW zu sehen sein.
The BMW M4 GT4 will become the latest sports car to make its debut in iRacing when it debuts on the service later this year. iRacing was on hand in the Turner Motorsport shop earlier this week scanning the car in order to prepare it for a 2020 release.
The BMW M4 GT4 campaigns in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge in the United States, as well as a number of other sports car series around the world. It made its debut in the hands of customer teams in 2018. That same year, the Professional MotorSport World Expo Awards nominated it for its Race Car of the Year award.
Last season, the car won the GT4 class of the Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia and 24H Series. It also earned the 2019 team title in ADAC GT4 Germany. The car also gained additional fame in the movie The Art of Racing in the Rain as the car raced by protagonist Denny Swift, portrayed by actor Milo Ventimiglia.
